So as CouchAthletics.com keeps growing, and more and more users keep getting involved, we've decided that an organizational chart was in order. So I've taken it on as a small project that I could do.
The end idea is to have it integrate with the Drupal content management system that the website is using. For the mean time, to get the code down working, and rendering properly, I've been working in a stand alone mode.
As it stands; this is a a fairly simple CSS/HTML page with simple alignment and keeping things clean and simple. The corporate logo is used in a dynamic sizing method and GOTO links are used for users to quickly get to each section. I put this in now, because I can see this chart getting larger and requiring some scrolling down the line. This keeps it simple; and make it easier to grow the website as needed.
Each user will have it's own page with avatar and information field. I've setup a generic page to outline how this is done. The top navigation bars allow for a quick return to main page, and allow for the GOTOs to quickly go to any defined group.
This is still a work in progress, and I will update it as it continues on. I am currently waiting to see what the general feedback of the page layout is, and talk with the other web development team as to how best integrate it with Drupal.
